Seasons of Change

I love painting these large canvas pieces. The freedom of movement surrounding the women, as well as freedom within the amount of space they inhabit. My favorite part of any painting I do is the connection between each dynamic, each color, each shape. How one resonates with another, and shifts the look or feel of each element. Despite the woman being still and standing, there is such a sense of movement within the painting. Is she strong and standing her ground within the dynamic surrounding her? Or is she creating that movement with the energy she exudes?
