What IS held within? Where are our stories, fears, joys, heartaches, laughter? Where are our deepest truths housed within our bodies? Our true story… the one that shapes us. Who we are deep within, the ways in which we hold our bodies. What’s tucked into the crevices? Where do our longings exist that no one whispers out loud? What is it you feel within yourself?

These paintings are a visual representation of emotions within my own body. My desire to be present in and feel within my body. What has shaped me, where I’ve yearned, felt frustrations, fears, joy, gratitude. They are a visual sharing of my own journey in this one great life.
