Mechanical Women Bundle

The "Mechanical" paintings were my first of this sort of jagged, pieced together female. I remember painting these two and feeling as though I wasn't enjoying the process. These are more difficult in the flow of my creation. I remember talking to one of my friends about it, and she observed that it was at a time in my life when I was just going through the motions day to day. Ironically it is a style that grew on me and became consistent in most of my female paintings after I finished these two.

The blue background is a very light wash of color.
