"Yellow" is one of the first women I painted. I had been solely painting abstracts based on my emotions, moving them through my body with the tool of a brush, color, and canvas. The first few female paintings I created all began as large abstract pieces. A line was painted, and then another. My breath would shift, and suddenly there was more space within my body, and as more strokes applied to the canvas, it was filled with different angles of a female form.
